EFTA were founded in 1972 by a group of printers to act as the unified voice of the flexo printing industry and to share information on new developments in quality and technology.

The association now has over 400 members and has established an active programme of training, seminars, conferences and exhibitions to further the needs of its members.

The association is run on an interactive basis by an elected board of directors drawn from all aspects of the membership which is made up of printers, designers, repro houses, platemakers, machinery suppliers, ink manufactures and technology companies.
